Rango grote winnaar bij de Annie AwardsParamount Pictures' Rango heeft een aantal belangrijke prijzen in de wacht gesleept tijdens de jaarlijkse Annie Awards, die voor de 39e keer werden uitgereikt. Rango won o.a. in de categorieën "Animated Feature", "Writing in a Feature Production" en "Members Favorite Award". Ook waren er prijzen voor films als Kung Fu Panda 2, Arthur Christmas, The Adventures of Tintin, Winnie The Pooh, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Rio en Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
De animatie-serie The Simpsons won voor de dertiende keer in de categorie "General Audience Animated TV Production".
